Isopure Aminos BCAA’s Powder Review

Let me cut to the chase here, folks. I don’t care for powders. My struggle with powders is that they feel and taste heavy and bulky. And truthfully, often times they just don’t taste very good. Like most people, I’ve struggled with finding “the right” supplement/powder mix for me. I don’t necessarily want to gain weight. I need something that makes me feel good and helps repair and build muscles…that doesn’t taste like sludge disguised as chocolate. When I was given the opportunity to try Isopure Aminos BCAA’s powder I did my research and did some reading on it. Needless to say, I was pretty surprised…and excited that I may have found my new recovery drink/powder. My impressions changed and I found the right thing for me! Here is the description from their website:

What immediately drew me to want to try Isopure was the fact the anti-inflammartory formula from the Tart Cherry helps reduce soreness after you work hard. Given that is what I struggle with most when I put in those double digit miles this make my ears perk up like Scooby-Doo. I gave it a test after my half marathon on Sunday in San Jose. Isopure sent me their Cherry Lime flavor (it’s like they KNEW I would love this flavor). I love cherry lime and this flavor does not disappoint. I kid you not, I could drink that all day long. The powder is not thick or gritty. In fact, it’s extremely light and “airy”. It mixed well and dissolved quickly and didn’t feel heavy when I drank it. It is worth noting that this product is a supplement or addition to protein powder. The amino acids really help to rebuild the muscles after strenuous activities and exercise. This helps to prevent soreness as time progresses. It can be sometimes be used before bedtime for the calming effect it has. And who doesn’t want to be calm and comfortable before bed. And I know some of you are wondering…yes it is lactose and gluten free! Did I mention how excited I am to have discovered a supplement powder I actually LOVE? Finally.

Now, if cherry lime isn’t your jam that’s ok. Isopure Aminos BCAA’s powder also comes in Alpine Punch (I wanna try this next) and Cranberry Grape. Aren’t those fun flavors? Speaking of flavors, be sure to check in with me next week. I am in a real creative space in the kitchen lately and something is telling me I am going to work this into a really fun recipe that I am sure you’ll love! So come back later and watch me get #BehindTheMuscle with #Isopure
