I am sure many of you have heard of the awesome folks over at GoneForARun.com. They are a great website with one of the largest selection of running gifts. So if you were ever looking for something for that runner in your life, or a something to commemorate that special accomplishment…these guys have you covered. They are much more than just gifts and accessories. They have begun hosting their own virtual race series.
Virtual races are fun, because you can do them on your time, at your pace, without any added pressure. I like to use them for longer training runs. I sign up for a virtual then give myself the medal for a hard days work. Hey, whatever incentive you need to get the job done, right?
With Independence Day right around the corner (fire up the BBQ), the folks at Gone For A Run have launched their All 4 Run Virtual 4 Miler! Get it…4th of July…4 miles. So cute and clever. I like it! So what are the details you need to know so you can join the celebration and say Horray for the Red, White, and Blue?
The race will run you $32.00. But you get some pretty awesome swag to commemorate this awesome event. That includes race shirt (either a Women’s Athletic Tank Top, Men’s Lifestyle Tee or Youth Short Sleeve Tee), gorgeous finisher medal, real race bib (no downloads!), car magnet! SWAG ON SWAG ON SWAG!
So, I know you want to join in the fun, right? So here are the rules:
- You have to register by June 22 to make sure you’re on the list. Limited space is available so make sure you have your ticket to the virtual party.
- Complete the virtual run between July 2nd and July 5.
- Run, walk, jog, skip, cartwheel you way and have FUN!
Simple, right? Get a ton of friends to join in the fun. This is the perfect time to all come together and use that #WeRunSocial hashtag. I’ll be running on the 4th of July so watch for those awesome pics. I have to earn my BBQ after all. So who’s in?
